Made from BPA-free material, this 22-ounce bottle comes equipped with one lightweight Berkey Element. This powerful filter can purify up to 110 gallons of tap water or 27.5 gallons of untreated/questionable water.

The sport bottle uses the same filtration medium as the larger Black Element, ensuring that it can mechanically extract waterborne pathogens and remove or dramatically reduce toxic chemicals, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and more. Say goodbye to unpleasant tastes and odours, silt, sediment, and chlorine – this bottle has got you covered.

With a storage shelf life of 50 years, the Sport Berkey Bottle is built to last. It has a refill capacity of approximately 160 refills for raw and untreated water and 640 refills for municipal tap water. Just remember not to freeze the bottle or run hot water through the filter as it is not designed for temperatures hotter than 95º F.

Using your berkey bottle is easy – simply pour water into it, extend the straw, and squeeze. This action forces the water through the filter and straw, ensuring every sip is clean and refreshing. For optimal performance, it is recommended to flush the filter two times before first use.

For maintenance and storage, remember to remove the filter when not in use for an extended period. Give the bottle a thorough rinse with a 1/4 tsp non-scented/non-enhanced chlorine bleach per one-half gallon of water or a 50/50 mixture of 3% hydrogen peroxide and water. Air-dry all the parts before reassembling them. Avoid freezing the filter, as it can damage its effectiveness.
